Able to "watch" a group
Able to watch a group without being a member. This might mean being able to subscribe to work being featured, or to the group news feed

O i'd like to say, that i would like to watch a group even tho i'm already a memeber...as donna mentions above :) great idea JO!!

I would like to see it whether you are a member or not....it's tough to keep up with group news and happenings with the set up as it is now. with so many postings it could take hours just to read through them all!!

This would be excellent, as i am constantly forgetting to check some of my really important groups. I find new threads have been begun, which I really should have seen much sooner, but because I'm only watching certain threads, it lulls me into a false sense that i'm seeing all there is to see....when in fact I'm missing some very important information coming through in new forum threads within groups
